A talk in English (held in person at the SGNO centre and via Zoom) will be hosted by Ms. Sheila Genaille on Wednesday, June 24, 2026 at 7 p.m. (Edmonton time). The title of the talk — Indigenous Peoples of Canada.
Ms. Genaille is a 7th generation Métis, historian and researcher.
The presentation includes: Indigenous Rights; Collision of European and Indigenous Peoples; Cultural Diversity Indians, Inuit, Métis; 20th Century Métis Activism; Pretendians; Wannabees; What’s in a Name; Questions or comments.
