Tuesday, July 18 2023, from 00:00 p.m. to 11:59 p.m.
It’s the end of another year at the SGNO. The Métis project will be completed by the end of
June and our new website will soon be operational. It’s time to relax and congratulate one
another on a great job. We have an incredible and dynamic team. Thanks to everyone for all
the work done.
In recognition of your contribution as a volunteer over the past 12 months and as a culmination of our Métis
Project, we are inviting you and your partner to a day out at Métis Crossing (approximately
115 km from La Cité) on Tuesday July 18, 2023.
We have also taken this opportunity to invite those of you who have taken time out of your
busy schedules to make presentations to educate our members about Métis culture and
history.
Our itinerary for the day will be as follows:
1. Around 9:00 a.m.: departure, carpooling (optional)
2. 10:45 am: arrival at Métis Crossing
3. 11:00 a.m.: half of the group goes on a Meet the Métis guided tour while the others are
invited to visit the premises on their own
4. 12:30 p.m.: everyone meets for a soup, salad and sandwich dinner (please let us know if
you have any food sensitivities)
5. 2:00 p.m.: half of the group goes on a guided tour while the other half does its self-guided
tour
6. 3:30 p.m.: departure for Edmonton or optional visit to Victoria Settlement (6 minutes
from Métis Crossing) which could also be done during your free time
Transportation will be at your expense (hence the carpooling). However, the SGNO will pay
the entrance fees, the guided tours as well as the dinners.

Vous êtes sur le point de vous inscrire à un événement déjà débuté et vous serez facturé le plein montant.
